Let's end this week by learning the 8th etude for this month. Like the previous blog, this etude will also focus on intensive use of 16th note subdivisions but with added triplets. Let's get on with it!
The Etude
How To Practice?
Follow these steps to make the most out of this etude:
Perform this without your instrument, using a metronome at a comfortable speed. Either tap your foot/fingers, or clap to perform.
Choose any note on your instrument, and play that note by incorporating these rhythms.
Try to compose/improvise a solo by incorporating these rhythmic ideas.
Create your own etude/piece of music by embelishing/re-arranging these.
